Questions About the Products
How does the taste guarantee work?
It's simple—just try our products and see for yourself. And if you're not 100% satisfied, just email us at shop@besserimglas.de. Once you've returned your products (whether they've been opened or used doesn't matter, of course), you'll receive a full refund of the purchase price.
What does "natural ingredients" mean?
Natural = Nature. We only put ingredients in our bottles that actually occur in nature. No artificial flavors, no pesticides, and no other additives.
Do your products contain additives?
No! We don't allow any additives or preservatives. We only put ingredients in our jars that come from nature.
Where do your products come from?
For our organic tea and spice blends, we source our raw materials from various countries of origin, which vary depending on the time of year and season. We do this for two main reasons: 1. The quality of our products, and 2. the availability of the best raw materials. By carefully selecting raw materials from different countries of origin, we ensure that we always use the best available ingredients for our blends. Our top priority is to offer you teas and spices of the highest possible quality! If you’d like to know the countries of origin for the raw materials in a specific blend or product, please feel free to send us the name and best-by date of the product.
Who monitors organic quality?
Any entity involved in the production, processing, or trade of organic products is subject to mandatory certification.
This certification is carried out by an independent institute that specializes in verifying compliance with the rules set forth in the Organic Regulation. This means that farmers who grow organic raw materials, processors who transform these raw materials, and retailers who sell the finished organic products all undergo a rigorous certification process.
This process involves regular inspections and checks to ensure that every step of the production and supply chain complies with organic standards.
The certification requirement ensures that organic products actually meet the high standards for ecological sustainability, environmental protection, and transparency. Thanks to these inspections, consumers can be confident that they are receiving high-quality organic products that meet organic standards.
This is an important step toward ensuring the authenticity and credibility of organic products on the market.
Where can I find the nutritional information?
You can always find the nutrition facts label directly on the product pages, below the list of ingredients.
However, not all of our products include nutritional information, as the law exempts herbal/fruit teas and teas in general from the otherwise mandatory nutritional labeling requirements. Since we do not add any sugar, these are pure herbal/tea/fruit infusions that are safe for people with diabetes. The sweetness of the sweet herb leaves does not affect blood sugar levels.
The same applies to spices that contain neither added sugar nor salt.
Are your products vegan and gluten-free?
All of our spices and iced teas are vegan and gluten-free! There are two exceptions when it comes to the teas:
The Rooibos Dream is not vegan because it contains natural honey flavoring, and the Apple Strudel is not gluten-free because it contains barley malt.
What is sweet herb?
Stevia leaves are the whole, dried leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant. They should not be confused with the chemically derived sweetener made from stevia—steviol glycosides, also known as E960. Since this sweetener is highly controversial and has an unpleasant taste, we clearly distance ourselves from it. The leaves we use are a natural product—in our case, 100% organic. In our teas, the leaves provide a light, pleasant sweetness and a full-bodied flavor. In addition, the leaves are completely calorie-free, suitable for diabetics, and good for your teeth.
Why do you use flavorings?
In some of our teas, we use natural flavors because that’s the only way to achieve the taste consumers expect (especially with fruit teas). Dried, steeped berries, for example, would hardly release any flavor of their own. When selecting flavors, we rely exclusively on organic flavors that come 100% from the fruit itself. It’s kind of like squeezing 100 strawberries into a pipette all at once! ;) We consistently avoid synthetically produced (chemical) flavorings as well as so-called “natural” flavorings, which often come from tree bark or mold.
Why do the gram measurements vary so much?
Every tea and every spice has a different volume—or to put it simply: a glass full of berries weighs more than a glass full of dried herbs! In both cases, however, you only need 1–2 teaspoons for one serving, which means the number of cups per glass is exactly the same.
Questions About Use and Storage
How are the iced teas made?
We also recommend pouring hot water over the iced tea and then letting it cool completely. Of course, this special blend doesn't just taste like cold tea—as it cools, it develops the perfect refreshingly sweet iced tea flavor!
How many servings do I get from one jar?
For teas and iced teas, we recommend 1–2 teaspoons per 250 ml of water, which makes 50 servings per jar.
When it comes to spices, the amount used varies depending on the dish and how they are used.
What material are the sample and refill pouches made of?
Made of paper! What many people don’t know is that “paper bags” are often not made of 100% paper at all, but are frequently coated with a thin layer of aluminum or plastic. We do things differently: To seal the bags so they’re airtight and flavor-proof, we use a thin cellulose coating instead. While this makes production slightly more expensive, it means you can easily dispose of the bag at home in your organic waste or on your garden compost pile.
Don't the products need to be stored in a dark place?
Based on our extensive testing, we have found that direct light over an extended period of time can affect the color of the tea, but not its quality or flavor. Nevertheless, we recommend that you avoid exposing the tea to direct sunlight to ensure the most consistent quality possible.
Questions About Your Order
Can I put together my own set or gift box?
Unfortunately, no—our sets and gift boxes are pre-packaged, so they can't (yet) be customized to your preferences. But feel free to let us know what combination you'd like! We always try to create the perfect boxes for you.
Where do I enter my discount code?
You'll find the discount code field during checkout (when you click "Checkout" in your shopping cart). If you're using a cell phone, you'll also need to tap "View Order Summary" at the top of the screen.
Can I pay by invoice?
Sure! We offer Klarna Invoice as one of our payment options. Otherwise, you can choose between PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Klarna Sofort.
Can I still change my order after it's been placed?
Unfortunately, no. Please check your order thoroughly one more time before finalizing it, as we are unable to make any changes to the products after the fact.
I need an invoice
No problem :) Just send an email with your order number to shop@besserimglas.de, and we'll send you your (VAT) invoice.
I received the wrong product / A product is missing
Of course, this should be a rare occurrence, and we're very sorry! If someone from our warehouse did make a mistake, just contact us at shop@besserimglas.de and we'll find a solution to replace your item.
How can I file a complaint if something is broken or the quality isn't up to standard?
If a product arrives damaged, breaks, or has any other quality defect, you can of course contact us immediately at shop@besserimglas.de, and we’ll arrange for a replacement. For accessories, we can help you even faster if you include a photo with your message. For products in glass containers, please feel free to let us know the best-by date or the lot number.
Can I return the products if I don't like them?
Yes! We believe in trying before buying, and if you don't like a product, we'll take responsibility. That's why you have 100 days to try it out.

How much is shipping?
The following shipping charges apply to your order:
Germany (DE):
Free shipping on orders of 60 € or more; for orders under that amount, we charge a shipping fee of 3.90 €.
Austria (AT) and France (FR):
Free shipping on orders of60 € or more; orders under that amount are subject to a 8,90 € shipping fee.
Italy (IT), Luxembourg (LU), the Netherlands (NL), Belgium (BE), Denmark (DK), and Spain (ES):
Free shipping on orders of 80 € or more; otherwise , shipping is 8.90 €.
Switzerland (CH):
Free shipping on orders of 100 € or more; otherwise, we charge 13.90 € for shipping. Regardless of the shipping costs, customs duties may apply.
Do you also ship internationally?
We ship almost anywhere in Europe: to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Denmark, and Spain.
Which shipping service do you use?
We ship within Germany using DHL Go Green.
How long does delivery take?
We promise to ship your order within 1–3 business days.
Do you also deliver to package stations?
Sure :) When delivering to a pickup station, please enter the address in the following order:
Street and house number: Packstation with number
Additional address information: Your personal postal code
Where is my package?
If you've been waiting longer than expected for your package, it's best to check your tracking information first. Even though DHL usually guarantees prompt delivery, there may be occasional delays or delays due to high order volume (such as during Black Friday or Christmas). If you still can’t figure it out from the tracking number, or if the package has been stuck for several days, please feel free to contact us at shop@besserimglas.de with your order number.
What happens if my package is returned to you?
If you didn't pick up the package from the store or Packstation in time, or if it's being returned to us for any other reason, we'll usually reach out to you proactively as soon as our warehouse notifies us of the return. Please be patient if the tracking information shows that the return has already arrived. Of course, you’re also welcome to reach out to us before it arrives so we can work out a solution in advance :)
