Not at all! Our iced tea blends are specially crafted to develop that distinctive iced tea flavor when served cold. Unlike "chilled tea," our iced tea varieties don't taste bitter or bland—instead, they're slightly sweet and wonderfully refreshing!

How do I make iced tea the right way?

Iced tea is brewed hot, just like regular tea, and then develops the perfect iced tea flavor as it cools! Depending on your preference, you can top it off with ice cubes, mint, or berries.

How many servings of tea does this set make?

The set includes six jars, each containing 50 servings. So this set has a total of 300 servings, which means each serving costs just €0.17.

Is there really no sugar in it?

No :) We also consistently avoid added sugar in our iced tea blends and rely on the power of nature—the infusion of sweet herb leaves (please don’t confuse this with the steviol glycosides “stevia,” also known as E960) creates a light, pleasantly sweet, and full-bodied flavor. Perfect for anyone who needs a sweet alternative to water in the summer but wants to avoid the sugar- and chemical-laden drinks from the supermarket!

Is the tea vegan, gluten-free, and pesticide-free?

We use the finest organic, pesticide-free ingredients in our iced teas. The tea is also vegan and gluten-free.

Is stevia a sweet herb or a sweetener?

Unlike industrial products (such as cola or artificial sweeteners), we use the entire dried leaf—also known as stevia. The industry, on the other hand, uses the chemically extracted sweetener from stevia—steviol glycosides, also known as E960. Since this sweetener is highly controversial and has an unpleasant taste, we clearly distance ourselves from it. The leaves we use are a natural product—in our case, 100% organic. In our teas and iced teas, the leaves provide a light, pleasant sweetness and a full-bodied flavor, and they are also completely calorie-free.

Why do you use flavorings?

In some of our teas and iced teas, we use natural flavors because that’s the only way to achieve the taste consumers expect—especially with fruit teas. Dried, steeped berries, for example, would hardly release any flavor of their own. When selecting flavors, we rely exclusively on organic flavors that come 100% from the fruit itself. It’s kind of like squeezing 100 strawberries into a pipette all at once! ;) We consistently avoid synthetically produced (chemical) flavorings as well as so-called “natural” flavorings, which often come from tree bark or mold.

What material are your refill pouches made of?

Our refill bags are made of sturdy kraft paper on the outside and a plant-based film made from cornstarch (PLA) on the inside. This combination makes the bag not only food-safe but also industrially compostable in accordance with DIN EN 13432.

Instead of aluminum or conventional plastic, we rely on a natural, sustainable solution that reliably protects the contents from air, moisture, and loss of flavor—without compromising on environmental friendliness.

Please note: The bags are intended for industrial composting—where they will decompose completely under controlled conditions. They are not intended for home composting or the organic waste bin.
