How does the screening mechanism work?

As simple as it is ingenious! Once your tea has finished steeping, you can simply pull the strainer up by the rod attached to it and fold it over using the built-in hinge. That way, the strainer stays in the teapot, but the tea doesn't keep steeping!

Can I still pour it without any problems?

Of course! Whether the strainer is hanging down or pulled up, you can easily pour the tea from the spout of the teapot into your cup.

How much tea can I make in the teapot?

The bottle has a maximum capacity of 1.5 L. So, with the strainer and lid, you can easily brew 1.3 L of your favorite tea in the teapot!

What is the pitcher made of?

The body of the pitcher is made of glass. The strainer is made of stainless steel, and the lid is made of bamboo.

Is the pitcher dishwasher-safe?

We recommend that you do not put the pot in the dishwasher, as the screen print could peel off and the wood on the lid could split. Only the lower part of the stainless steel strainer can be safely placed in the dishwasher.
