Berry Bars

These little energy boosters are perfect for on the go or as a snack between meals. 

Ingredients:

For the floor

  • 45 g rolled oats
  • 40 g oat flour 
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 20 g nut butter
  • a splash of milk 
  • 2 tsp salted caramel

 

For the homemade jam

  • 100 g frozen raspberries
  • 2 tsp salted caramel
  • grated lemon zest 
  • 15 g chia seeds

 

Preparation:

  1. First, prepare the jam: Heat the frozen berries in the microwave for 2–3 minutes until they break down. Then add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Set aside.
  2. Then mash the banana. Next, knead all the ingredients for the crust together and set aside a portion for the crumble topping. Press the crust into a rectangular pan lined with parchment paper and spread the chia jam on top.
