When it gets hot outside and the kids ask for something sweet—this sorbet is the answer. Sugar-free, easy to make, and with the fruity flavor of Strawberry Iced Tea, it’s simply irresistible.
Ingredients (for 4 servings)
- 500 ml strong strawberry iced tea (double the amount of tea)
- 300 g fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Fresh mint for garnish
Preparation
- Brew the strawberry iced tea strongly—use double the amount of tea and let it steep for 1 hour.
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then chop them into large pieces.
- Puree the strawberries, iced tea, and lemon juice in a blender until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow freezer container and freeze for about 4 hours.
- Stir with a fork every 45 minutes—this will make the sorbet nice and creamy.
- Serve in bowls and garnish with fresh mint.
