Blood Orange Gin

Blood Orange Gin

A fruity, tangy drink with natural sweetness, slightly bitter, and perfect for toasting at sunset on the balcony—for true connoisseurs. Cheers!

Ingredients for 2 glasses:

  • 400 ml " Besser im Glas" Blood Orange Iced Tea
  • 60 ml of your favorite gin
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Ice cubes
  • Sparkling mineral water to top up
  • Fresh blood orange slices, rosemary, or mint for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Pour 4 teaspoons of blood orange iced tea into a tea strainer and pour 400 ml of water over it.
  2. Steeping time: about 8–10 minutes—the longer you steep it, the more intense and sweeter the flavor.
  3. Remove the strainer and let the tea cool completely (preferably in the refrigerator).
  4. Fill two large glasses with ice cubes.
  5. Pour 30 ml of gin into each glass.
  6. Add a little lime juice and stir well.
  7. Top off each glass with 200 ml of cold blood orange iced tea.
  8. Top with sparkling water to taste.
  9. Garnish with orange slices and a sprig of rosemary or mint.
