Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 carrot
- 1 stalk of celery
- 1 red chili pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 600 ml vegetable broth
- 400 g canned tomatoes
- 125 g mountain lentils
- 2 scallions
- 1/2 bunch of cilantro
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Orient Talent
Preparation:
- Wash the vegetables and cut everything into small cubes.
- Sauté the onion in the oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the vegetables and sauté for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the chili and Orient Talent and sauté briefly. Then stir in the broth and tomato chunks.
- Rinse the lentils in a colander, let them drain, and add them to the pot. Bring everything to a boil, then cover and simmer over medium heat for 25–30 minutes.
- Season the stew with spices and lime juice to taste.
- Serve sprinkled with scallions and cilantro
