Muffins for breakfast?? Sure! These breakfast muffins made with spelt flour and applesauce will keep you full until lunch.
Recipe for 6 muffins:
- 240 g apple sauce
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil or another type of oil
- 140 g spelt flour
- 50 g sugar or an alternative
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Cherries with no added sugar
- 10 g chocolate chips or walnuts
- 2 tsp Schoki Oats
Preparation:
- Mix all the ingredients together, being careful not to overmix them, or they won't rise properly in the oven later. Then add the cherries and bake in muffin cups at 180°C for about 20–25 minutes.
